Dress Code

Shae&nbsp;met&nbsp;Patrick&nbsp;when&nbsp;they&nbsp;were&nbsp;traveling&nbsp;for&nbsp;work&nbsp;via&nbsp;a&nbsp;dating&nbsp;app.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;started&nbsp;at&nbsp;La&nbsp;Crepe&nbsp;with&nbsp;an&nbsp;awkward&nbsp;hug&nbsp;and&nbsp;hello,&nbsp;but&nbsp;once&nbsp;the&nbsp;conversation&nbsp;started&nbsp;it&nbsp;never&nbsp;ended.&nbsp;What&nbsp;was&nbsp;supposed&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;a&nbsp;nice&nbsp;brunch&nbsp;and&nbsp;bye&nbsp;turned&nbsp;into&nbsp;an&nbsp;entire&nbsp;day&nbsp;of&nbsp;exploring&nbsp;Downtown&nbsp;Melbourne.&nbsp;From&nbsp;that&nbsp;day&nbsp;on&nbsp;Shae&nbsp;and&nbsp;Patrick&nbsp;could&nbsp;not&nbsp;stop&nbsp;wanting&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;near&nbsp;each&nbsp;other,&nbsp;which&nbsp;they&nbsp;made&nbsp;a&nbsp;reality&nbsp;when&nbsp;they&nbsp;moved&nbsp;in&nbsp;together&nbsp;at&nbsp;6&nbsp;months.&nbsp;Now&nbsp;almost&nbsp;3&nbsp;years&nbsp;into&nbsp;their&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;they&nbsp;both&nbsp;agree&nbsp;that&nbsp;they&nbsp;are&nbsp;very&nbsp;excited&nbsp;for&nbsp;their&nbsp;upcoming&nbsp;nuptials&nbsp;next&nbsp;year.

Where It All Began

After Shae and Patrick found their wedding venue of their dreams and put a deposit neither wanted to wait for their proposal trips that they had planned for months later. On the way home from visiting family for Christmas they decided to propose to each other that Sunday at their favorite hiking spot Turkey Creek Sanctuary. They immediately texted their close friends and photographers Nick and Lauren and asked if they were free. December 28, 2025 Shae and Patrick woke up and hiked their favorite trail, met Lauren and Nick on the boardwalk and proposed to each other. After the excitement we all went to La Crepe, where Shae and Patrick first met and had a wonderful breakfast.

The Proposal

Our Story

Hannah met Shae in a meeting for a charity show where they were co-treasurers. Their forced partnership would soon become the best thing to happen to Shae as they became fast best friends. From that day on they spent most of their college careers hanging then living together.

Jeff and Patrick met at a party held by mutual friends, and quickly bonded over shared history and mutual politics. This friendship grew and morphed into a tight-knit bond through uplifting and supporting one another through many hardships, and celebrating the many wins. Two introverts somehow make an extrovert when Patrick and Jeff are together!

Jessica and Shae met in an Econ class when Jessica invited herself to a choir party. Shae quickly loved Jessicas forwardness and not only did they share a college major but they shared a college dorm room, and many memorable nights.

Josue and Patrick met on one of the first classes to enter back into in-person classes after COVID, and sat next to each other in the lab. The two quickly formed a bond, made easy with Josue's quick wit and joking personality. They both made it a point to take every class they could together due to the high reliability for team projects.

Grace and Shae met in 8th grade when they were stuck waiting for busses to take them back to their middle schools every morning. From choir to game nights Grace and Shae were friends from the start.

Sebastian and Patrick met through Josue while hanging out in the labs, and became fast friends after discussing DnD. Patrick admired the kindness and generosity of Sebastian shown through his willingness to help others. From there, they formed a bond over mutual lamenting of the bad USF professors, and would regularly keep the labs open for unofficial stats classes.

Nisha and Shae met the day before their freshman year of college at a choir BBQ. They became fast friends, then later roomies. From door dec nights to living room bed forts, they share many wonderful memories together.

Patrick and Jordan met in highschool and became fast friends through mutual interest of all things mecha. The bond they share has carried over the many years through good times and bad, and they consistently show up for one another. Even though [insert far away joke here], Jordan and Patrick still find ways to link up.
